The Medical Library Education Section was established in 1973 to promote Medical Library Association interests related to health science library and information science education. Members include full-time teachers and adjunct and occasional instructors in schools of library and information science, continuing education contexts, and other formal and on-the-job settings, as well as those interested in health sciences library and information science from other points of view.
